Leftover Day

Did you have a turkey sandwich yesterday too?

  1. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in New Zealand, so no, sadly we didn't have a lovely delicious turkey sandwich for lunch. We had a filled cheese and bacon roll instead, not nearly as wonderful. I hope you enjoyed your turkey.

  2. That looks so good! Love the stylish woman in the photo. I had a full plate of all the leftovers (turkey & roast beef) with toasted bread with lots of sweet, real, cold, creamy butter. When I was a kid, my favorite "meal" was fresh baked French like bread & sweet butter. Ahhhh. (I'm glad I leave tomorrow. Cannot keep this up.)

  3. PS - do I see a bit of ham on that plate? And is that a squash soup?

  4. The stylish woman is Wendy, my sister-in-law's sister. We love to have her visit from Arizona!
The soup is broccoli with mascarpone with truffle oil AND honey-baked ham!
