Chrysler Imperial

The Chrysler Imperial, A Classic Hybrid Tea Rose
A beautiful velvety rose with a heavy spicy fragrance that has been around since 1952, originally used in marketing of the Chrysler Imperial automobile. The 1953 winner of All-America Rose Selections (AARS), a nonprofit association created by the American rose industry and dedicated to the introduction and promotion of exceptional roses.

  1. How interesting...and such a lush photo. I wonder how Chrysler used this rose in their ads?

  2. how about that? what an interesting history.
Our (I should say, my husband's) 3 rose bushes by our front door keep on blooming & blooming too.

  3. I was totally expecting a photo of the car! I, too, wonder how Chrysler used the rose in their ads. Thanks for the introduction to the real Imperial.

So nice to hear from you!

Warm regards,
Lori Lynn
