A major restoration of the stream and duck pond at Averill Park begins this month. In this photo, the stream has been drained. $682,000 from Quimby funds, developer-paid monies designated for recreation enhancements, will be used to restore the water features at the park.
I hope it turns out well. Where do the ducks go for now, I wonder?
