Tree Trimming

Residents of Los Angeles enjoy more reliable electric service thanks to the work of the LADWP’s tree trimmers. Tree limbs coming in contact with power lines, especially during windy or rainy weather, often cause power outages. The Department’s award-winning tree trimming program has been responsible for significantly reducing the number of power outages by trimming the city’s trees on a regular basis.
