Ornamental Kale

Winter Garden:
Kale requires cool weather, moist, rich soil, and at least a few hours of sunlight a day. Beyond that, they're easy to grow and can tolerate temperatures below freezing. The leaves of ornamental kale are edible. They can be used as garnish on plates provided they were not treated with harmful chemicals.

  1. Interesting looking plant/flower. I can see why it can be used as garnish. It reminds me of cabbage.

  2. Lovely enough to make floral arrangements with.

  3. We're out with the cool weather. Probably why I've never seen one before. It's gorgeous! And the way this one has opened is just perfect!
