Surrounded by Mexican fan palms (Washingtonia robusta)
at Le Grande Terrace and Averill Avenue.

On another day, from a different angle.

  1. Here are two shots I've taken. One was of an old photo posted down at the harbor.

  2. Seems to me I do remember those very tall palms in Southern Cal. I think I wouldn't mind living in that neighborhood. Anything available for, oh, say, $100K?

    Heh. Heh.

  3. Thanks Marie!

Oh cool Abby! Thanks for the link.

Maybe Jacob? I saw a bank-owner fixer-upper on auction starting at $124,000 the other day, maybe I'll post that pic. You handy?

  4. Very cool perspective in both shots! I like them a lot. That second shot is like a flock of palms on the frond :-)
Images like these make me nostalgic for fragrant summer evenings with these silhouetted in the sunset light.
